This really is a beautiful pattern! Gorgeous culinary flowers you can paint on coasters (or anything)! If painted with glass paint, you can paint some tiles to place into your kitchen counter backsplash!
 
To prevent painted placemats, coasters or box lid from sticking together, I recommend using a soft rag to apply a coat of wax (after varnishing) on both sides. Then buff out to a soft finish. NOTE: Use a hard non-yellowing paste wax (NOT floor wax) This wax is often used with chalk paint.
